Dad was part of the Diplomatic Corp and our travels around the world allowed me to discover a whole wide world of languages and cultures from a very young age. I was instantly attracted by the sounds that the languages resonated and therefore became instantly interested in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and others. After graduating from Cairo American College, I taught English face-to-face part-time, then later full-time, in a prestigious Language Center called Berlitz. I was taught the Direct method approach, an effective method that showed me how important it is to use the target language exclusively in class to all students.

I was so fortunate of being allowed to study my whole high school education in an International School in Cairo, Egypt called "Cairo American College".
